nominated mobile web applications and to support your observations and
recommendations convincingly.

Your answer should include:
1) An overview and description of the nominated mobile web
applications.
2) A description of the strengths, weaknesses and gaps of the mobile
web applications you have selected.

Part B: Mobile Web Application Evaluation Framework (400 words)
Based on your assessments of the two apps, create a set of criteria which
others could use to assess the ‘quality’ of a mobile web application. For each
criterion, explain why you have chosen to include this in your evaluation
framework.






INTRODUCTION:
In the new world of the technology, we are much depended on mobile devices that are called Smart devices. We can call it a “Post-PC” world, our life revolve around this digital world. This technology has surrounded all the markets so it is very difficult to small enterprises and developers for sustaining their business. so now solution is the Mobile web  Application .These application is the combination of mobile native application and the web application called Mobile web application. it has HTML5 technology  provides a less effort to bring their creativity to the world , so they can reach vast majority of users.

OBJECTIVE:
Mobile device and their inter connectivity has many control over the users. It drags the user where they want to go with a little click and less efforts, i am not able to remember do something on the Internet when they get back to their computer.
I can do immediately on my mobile device and this can be done by the mobile web application .Mobile web application is the just similar to the websites consisting of lots of html5 pages together but have responsive web designing so that user interaction can be look like mobile application.

Here I am choosing two mobile app which is so famous in the interaction and different in the format and uses. Both have different world users.

1.     MAKEMYTRIP
2.     JABONG

Overview of Both Mobile web Application
  1. For the first application I am choosing MAKEMYTRIP mobile web application. it is the famous travel agency which make travel booking for the users. This company has all the service like website native mobile application and the mobile we application. Here we are going to study mobile web application. It has all the functionality which has its website.
    It has all the features like :
·       User friendly interface for Online Ticket Booking
·       Online Ticket Printing & Cancellation System
·       Real Time display of bookings
·       Section wise reporting system to manage the operations
·       User Management system
·       Admin Panel for Agent to Manage their bookings
·       Panel for User login where then can print Ticket Online or Cancel.
·       Booking for Hotels, flights, holidays, bus, trains have all different section in the mobile web       application.


  1. For the second mobile web application I am going to choose Jabong ,it is a very big brand for online retail sellers .
  • It has different categories for Men ,Women and Kids Section.
  • With this major section it has divided into sub categories of clothes.
  • Section for adding into cart .
  • Section to add into wish list for later use.
  • Payment gateway
  • Profile management
  • Product tracking

A description of the strengths, weaknesses and gaps of the mobile web applications.

Weakness for MAKEMYTRIP:
  • No experience with niche cruises.
  • Not for Agent only for users
  • Aging website with high Traffic
  • Irregular company newsletter publication
  • No understanding of social media
  • Small historical emphasis and budget for marketing
  • No substantial group leader program
  • Low year-on-year growth patterns.
Strengths of MAKEMYTRIP
  • Same as Mobile App
  • Fast in use
  • User Friendly.
  • Compatible with all mobile devices.

Weakness for Jabong:
  • Crash frequently.
  • Some time irregular data presentation
Strengths of Jabong
  • Customer intelligence
  • Easy to use
  • User Friendly
  • Easy Categories
  • Reduce Overhead
Gaps between both.
By the users both are the different app. They have different world and use of users. But by the technology wise both are somewhere same. Both use HTML5 and java script. Java script makes both mobile friendly and CSS technology make both the mobile web application user friendly and attractive.

In my Mobile web application evolution framework I am choosing some of best functionality which can describe for mobile web application.These are:-

Speed is important but with quality also: In this new world of technolgogy every device is a mastermind of the multitasking so as the users.users want quick response from the mobile web application because they have many work same time.
